Availability: Model and composite-model configuration is available in enterprise tenants. The models and configuration options available to an administrator depend on the tenant's enabled offering.
Enterprise teams do not have to use one undifferentiated AI setup. Configure approved models at enterprise level and tailor the available configuration to individual organisations.
What is a composite model?
A composite model combines multiple AI models into one configured building experience. Different parts of the work can use different models, while the team works through a single builder.
This is different from asking every person to select a provider for each action. Administrators establish the approved configuration; builders work within it.
Choose the right configuration scope

For example, a product team and a team handling sensitive internal material may need different approved model configurations. Record the reason for each configuration and who owns it.
Review more than output quality
Consider the kinds of information a model receives, the relevant provider terms, cost expectations, and the quality needed for the task. Check the configuration with representative, non-sensitive work before using it for a wider rollout.
Running a sandbox in customer cloud does not, by itself, move AI model processing into that cloud. Model provider choices and build placement are separate decisions. Review both when establishing data-handling requirements.
Manage changes deliberately
Give model configuration rights to the appropriate administrators. Review the affected enterprise or organisation scope before saving a change, and assess the outcome on a small project.
