Unpublish an app
Remove a live Ahamo app from published access, confirm the result, and understand what to check before republishing.
Unpublishing removes production access. It does not delete the app from Ahamo or undo its builds.
Use it when visitors should no longer open the live version. For a small issue, publishing a tested update may be less disruptive.
Remove published access
- Open the published app in the editor and choose Publish.
- In the published summary, check the Website URL so you know which production address will be affected.
- Choose Unpublish.
- Wait for the published summary to close and for the app’s published state to update.
There is no separate setup flow, so check the address first. If another production operation is running, let it finish before unpublishing.
Confirm the result
Open the former URL in a private window. Refresh once and confirm the app no longer opens as published. Then verify in Ahamo that it is no longer shown as published.
Unpublishing does not confirm that app data was deleted, external search results changed, or old links redirect.
Publish again
You can keep building and previewing the app. Before republishing, fix the issue and test that path in preview or staging.
Choose Publish, select Publish to production, review the URL, and complete the normal flow. Wait for completion and verify the live URL again.
If Ahamo shows the app as unpublished but the former URL still serves it after a private-window refresh, avoid repeatedly toggling the state. Follow Troubleshoot an app build.
