Use a staging preview
Publish an eligible staging version, run a focused smoke test, and promote a verified release to production.

Availability: Staging requires an eligible plan and app, plus permission to publish. The environment chooser shows the current gate.
Staging gives you a production-like address for testing a release without replacing production.
Check eligibility
Open the app and choose Publish. Under Choose an environment, Ahamo shows production and staging separately. Staging is enabled only when the Workspace and app are eligible. A plan gate appears with a Pro badge.
For an app with a managed database, Ahamo can require protected production data before creating staging. Follow the message in the chooser.
Create or update staging
- Finish the build and test the changed journey in preview.
- Choose Publish, then select the staging environment.
- In Staging preview, choose Create staging preview. If staging already exists, the action is Update staging preview.
- Wait for Staging preview ready.
- Open the displayed staging link or use Copy.
Run a focused check
Open staging in a browser profile that is not signed in to Ahamo. Confirm the app and page title, then test the smallest complete journey affected by the build. If the app uses accounts or data, use safe test accounts and records.
Staging has a different address, and protected environments can use separate data. A passing check does not verify the production URL or data.
Publish production separately
Staging does not promote itself. If the app has not changed since the check, return to Publish, choose Publish to production, and complete the review. Open the production URL and repeat the main check.
